In 1926, our founder Grace Arents left an endowment with the St. Andrew’s Association to support St. Andrew’s School. In the mid-1990s, however, it was necessary for the school to hold its first ever capital campaign to raise funds for much needed renovations and repairs. The interest gained from Miss Arents’ endowment could not provide for the school’s continually growing budget and expenses.

Today, the income from the Grace Arents Endowment supports approximately 50% of our operating costs. The remainder of our operating costs are supported by contributions to our Annual Fund each year. In 2003, the St. Andrew’s school board created the St. Andrew’s School Foundation to receive gifts restricted for endowment. The St. Andrew’s School Foundation accepts and encourages:

• Bequests
