How to Apply
The admissions process at St. Andrew's School is comprehensive, extensive, and holistic. We consider academics, social and emotional needs, and family commitment among many other factors during the application process.
Complete Online Application
Applications for Fall 2026 to Spring 2027 are now open.
Submit Student Documents
The following documents must be received in order for your application to be considered complete:
- Child’s birth certificate
- Financial Documents (see Income Qualifications)
- Student Recommendation Form (Kindergarten) (Grades 1-5)
- Signed Release of Student Information Form (Click to download the PDF)
- Immunization Form or Waiver (Kindergarten only)
Application documents can be uploaded to the online application portal, emailed to [email protected] or faxed to 804-612-4175.
Note: The recommendation form is confidential and should not be shared with an applicant’s family. The form also cannot be completed or delivered by family members. Any forms received by the family of an applicant will not be accepted and may result in denial of an application.

Interview and Assessment
The parents or guardians of prospective students will participate in a family interview with the Director of Admissions. Prospective students will participate in assessments which include academic testing.
Decision
Families will be notified in writing of acceptance, denial, or wait pool status.
St. Andrew’s School utilizes a whole-child approach to education which extends to admissions. The admissions process is designed to be comprehensive, extensive, and provide a holistic view of prospective students and their families. We consider academics, social emotional needs, and family commitment among many other factors to determine fit in our community. All prospective students are required to complete the entire St. Andrew’s School assessment process to be considered for admission.
Fee Structure
- New Student Enrollment Fee: $150
- Re-enrolling One Student Fee: $150
- Families with More Than One Student: $150 for the first student and $130 for each additional student.
