Admissions Process at SAS

You’re interested in St. Andrew’s School (SAS), and would like your child to join our community. What is your next step?

First, you need to fill out an online application. Our admissions process mimics our whole-child approach and is designed to be comprehensive. In this way, SAS receives an inclusive picture of the prospective student and their family because of the multiple points of reference used.

Admission Journey List

We have received a letter of conditional acceptance. What does this mean?
If a family is determined to be a good fit for the community, they will be extended a conditional offer of acceptance. The conditional acceptance is a practice to continually assess how we support families and if we can continue to support them throughout their time at St. Andrew’s School.

Also helpful to know:

  • Applications open for Kindergarten in November
  • Applications for grades 1-5 open in January
  • The first round of decisions are made after March
  • iblings are welcome to apply, but there’s no guaranteed admission
  • Once decisions are made, it applies only to the current school year.
  • If a child is denied, families are welcome to re-apply the following year, and will be assessed on the new standards in their new grade level.
  • If a child is offered a space in the waitpool, they remain for the entire school year. However, they must reapply each year.
  • Admissions decisions are confidential and we are unable to offer specifics for each decision. However, we would be happy to clarify the process
  • Email is the primary form of communication throughout the admissions process. Please make sure your contact information is valid and use an email that you check regularly.
