Head of School’s Welcome
Dear Friends and Families,
I am so excited for the 2023-2024 school year.
When I wake up every morning, I have a sense of wonder and excitement. My thoughts are about the new connections to be made and additional contextual means about my school that I will discover, and the impact of this information. This will help me intentionally and strategically plan for the future of the school.

St. Andrew’s is a historic school with a clear mission and vision that focuses on whole child programming.
This approach to education resonates with everything I believe in and practice as an educator. As a school administrator, the health and safety of all children has always been my number one priority. I have high expectations for maintaining a culture of inclusion, where every child has a sense of belonging and connection, so that everybody is thriving.
At St. Andrew’s, we do this through our six fundamentals:
- Academics: Student-centered learning and best practices in reading, writing, and math instruction, as well as STEAM class
- Social and Emotional Learning (SEL): SEL experiences supports and deepens students’ comprehension of emotions and scaffold learning
- Visual & Performing Arts: Partnering with community organizations for music and movement, physical activity, and art
- Wellness & Nutrition: Healthy meals are prepared daily by our school Chef, and we provide regular physical education classes and daily recesses
- Graduate Support: We help students prepare to transition to middle school and beyond
- Family Engagement: Families are partners in their child’s education
On a daily basis I witness the incredible dedication of the families, staff and faculty, volunteers, board members, and community members in supporting the school. Everyone is committed to the success of St. Andrew’s.
